Claudia Griffeth - President
Ms. Griffeth was born in San Nicolas, Argentina. She lived at Sunrise Children's Home for three years after her father died when she was 8 years old,
In 1990, Claudia had the opportunity to attend school in the United States. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources. She is an administrator at one of the largest sporting goods chains in the United States.
Since coming to the United States, Claudia has remained deeply involved with Sunrise. She has organized and led several teams to work at the Home. She maintains regular contact with the Home's Administrator, Omar de Felipe.
Claudia has a special relationship with the children because she lived at Sunrise for three years and understands the difficult situations that many of the children faced before entering the Home.
Claudia is fluent in Spanish and English.
Claudia's primary duties are communicating with children's homes in Spanish speaking countries, responding to e-mail requests, and planning and leading work team to project sites. She volunteers approximately 20 hours a week to Sunrise.

Ollie Fick - Vice President
Mr. Fick spent three years in a children's home in Fremont, Nebraska after his father died. He received a Masters Degree in Physical Science from Oregon State University in 1971 and spent over 30 years as an Environmental Scientist. He continues working in his profession as the owner of an environmental consulting company. He also owns and operates a real estate investment company.
In 1963 Mr. Fick began doing construction projects in Latin America mainly on schools for poor children. He has organized, led and worked on projects throughout most of Latin America. In 1989, he started a sponsorship program for Sunrise Children's Home and has made over two dozen trips to Sunrise.
Ollie Speaks English and Spanish. His main responsibilities are Web site management, general administration, and construction management. He volunteers about 10 hours a week to Sunrise.
For 9 years Mr. Fick worked with poor, disadvantaged and immigrant children in Atlanta, Georgia housing projects. He also was a tutor with the Bridging-the-Gap Project in Atlanta.
Since 2002, Mr. Fick has been a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in Deschutes County, Oregon.

Steve Rodine - Secretary and Treasurer
Mr. Rodine received his BS degree from Portland State University in Business Management. He later earned a Masters of Biblical Studies from International College and Graduate School in Honolulu, Hawaii. For nine years he was the Financial Administrator of the then largest Christian School in Oregon. During that time he also served on the Board of Directors. He also owned and operated a construction firm for nearly fourteen years. Currently Mr. Rodine is the Financial Pastor of a Community Church in Redmond, Oregon.
He has made two trips to Sunrise Children's Home and been involved in fund raising efforts on their behalf. He and his wife Sue have been involved working with youth of all ages since 1976.
Steve's main responsibilities are fund raising and handling Sunrise's finances. He volunteers about 10 hours a week to Sunrise.

Greg Jones - Board Member
Mr. Jones was born in Walla Walla, Washington. He graduated from Benson Technical High School, Portland, Oregon in 1973. Greg then spent 6 years in the United States Air Force, specializing in Electronic Communications. He earned a business certificate from Contra Costa Community College in California.
Greg started his career with IBM in 1979. Among his many positions were customer engineer, team lead, project manager and account manager. He continues his career as a systems service representative in Redmond, Oregon.
In 2004, Greg became involved with Sunrise Children's Home. He made his first trip as one of a seventeen-member work party. He continues to make annuals trips to the home to spend time with the children and continue work projects.
Greg's main responsibilities are fund raising and securing, installing and maintaining computer systems. He volunteers about 10 hours a week to Sunrise.
